What We Do

From Legacy Systems to Modern Legal Tech

We bring enterprise-grade rigor to every implementation and migration — ensuring your financial data, documents, and workflows transition seamlessly.

Clio & XTND Implementation

End-to-end deployment of Clio and XTND platforms — from initial scoping through go-live and post-launch support. We configure workflows, permissions, and integrations tailored to your firm's practice areas.

Financial Data Migration

Complex financial data conversion from legacy billing and accounting systems into Clio and XTND. We map chart of accounts, trust balances, AR aging, and transaction histories with precision.

Document Migration

Structured migration of documents, matter files, and digital records from legacy DMS and file shares. We preserve metadata, folder structures, and access controls throughout the process.

Data Cleansing & Validation

Before importing data into new systems, we audit, cleanse, and reconcile financial and transactional records. Clean data means clean books from day one — no inherited errors.

Migration Expertise

We've Already Moved Firms Off the System You're On

Matters, time entries, trust ledgers, WIP and AR aging carried across intact and reconciled — not approximately right. Chart of accounts mapping, trust reconciliation and multi-entity consolidation are the parts firms underestimate, and they are where a migration is won or lost.

A Team Built for Complex Transitions

Every engagement is staffed with domain experts who understand both the technology and the business of law. From project kickoff to post-go-live optimization, you get a dedicated team — not a generic helpdesk.

Our change management practice ensures firm-wide adoption, not just a technical deployment. We train staff, align stakeholders, and build internal champions so your investment delivers ROI from day one.

How the work runs

A new system doesn't give you a clean slate

Data arrives as messy as it left. Habits arrive intact, because they live in people rather than a database. What changes is speed — which means an unexamined process on unvalidated data simply runs faster. The work below is what stops that happening, and it is the part most implementations skip.

Data readiness, and who owns it

A missing value does not fail loudly in a new system. It quietly does nothing, and the symptom surfaces weeks later somewhere unrelated. Two named roles prevent it, and both sit with the firm.

  • One owner for extracts — same reports, reproducibly, on migration weekend
  • One approver of record — confirms a dataset in writing, to the record count
  • Attributes identified, not fields — wherever they currently live

Books agreed before cutover

Imported data is reconciled against your own numbers in both directions. That check only means something if those numbers agree with each other first, so reconciliation is a gate rather than a task.

  • Trial balance, trust reconciliation and receivables aging in agreement
  • Write-offs and duplicate contacts resolved before the extract
  • Old unbilled time decided, not migrated as an open question

Gap analysis, in three buckets

Every difference between how you work today and how the platform works is sorted into exactly one bucket. Trouble comes from the second and third being quietly recorded as the first.

  • A setting we configure
  • A process you change
  • Not yet supported — said plainly, not buried

An unreconciled book is a common finding, not a disqualifier. What causes trouble isn't the state of the books — it's nobody mentioning it until cutover weekend. Tell us where you actually are and the schedule gets built around it.
